HR Manager

The Talent Place are recruiting a HR Manager on behalf of creative and exciting Professional Services client.

  • Location: London, UK (Hybrid options available)
  • Hours: Full time
  • Salary: £42-45k

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice to the Directors and ensure compliance on a wide range of HR issues, seeking guidance from Worknest or other appropriate bodies as necessary.
  • Develop employment policies and procedures in line with legislation and ensure all policies and procedures are current and compliant.
  • Maintain the employee handbook ensuring that it is current, relevant, and fit for purpose.
  • Produce information and make recommendations based on benchmarking and data analysis.
  • Design effective recruitment processes for internal and external recruitment in line with employment legislation and best practice, and lead on the use of Pinpoint recruitment software across both offices.
  • Work with hiring leads to identify vacancies. Prepare Job Descriptions and Person Specifications for all roles.

Experience:

We are seeking an experienced HR manager to join their London team to carry out the full HR remit across the business.

As the sole HR professional for the UK, you’ll work independently to ensure the efficiency of the HR team, whilst liaising with the team in Europe to ensure a consistent approach to people related activity across the business. You’ll work with the management team, guiding on policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.

This role is varied, requiring an organised individual who can multi-task and handle multiple priorities and projects. The ideal candidate will have confident knowledge in employment law, a proven ability to resolve tricky situations and clear & effective communication skills.
